In order to achieve our goals we tailor our services to every client’s specific needs.
However, in general, the services we provide are:
This entails one of our consultants coming to your operation and spending time with a number of your people (shop floor through to senior management) getting a broad understanding of how you operate and the issues your people have.
In the case of a multi-site organisation such as a retailer with a number of stores we would spend time at the operation of your choosing.
This may be one that has particular problems or causes specific issues, or an operation that is a good representation of the whole organisation.
From the management of a simple shop floor move-around through to the management of complex and multiple-faceted factory moves, or the implementation of a wide reaching Enterprise Resource Planning system such as SAP.
The training we carry out is very much hands on with a lot of participation from the attendees: we don't expect people to sit through a presentation; we use the ethos of 'Learn by Doing'.
Our training covers all areas of operational business improvement such as planning, stock control, workplace organisation (5S, 5C or CANDO), problem solving, continuous improvement (Kaizen), total productive maintenance (TPM), operating equipment efficiency (OEE) set up reduction (SMED), 'Lean Office' etc.
We tailor the training to suit the client and the audience; for instance for a retailer's shop staff we may well train them in stock control techniques and workplace organisation.
We have a number of experts from all the market sectors we serve and carry out implementations, from very specific improvements in one area through to long term projects, improving operational performance across the whole organisation.
For retailers' this includes areas such as vehicle access, on-site storage, internal access limitations and the processes required for stock control.
Whatever we do, one of our overriding principles is to involve the people: we don't 'do it to them', but do 'do it with them'; making sure that they understand what is in it for them and ensuring that it is sustained long after we have gone.
